In this video we are interfacing RFID RC522 with Arduino UNO board using LCD & Servo Motors, i.e we are gonna design RFID based security system using Arduino. Raspberry Pi - Arduino RFID Door Latch

I have a Raspberry Pi 2 in the white case, which would be inside the building. This is where the decisions are made. The black case goes on the wall outside the door, and has an RFID module with an Arduino Pro Mini. The Arduino sends the RFID data to the Pi, which makes the decision and either does or doesn't unlock the door.

The cases that these devices are in are cases that I designed and 3D printed.

This is first test of my homemade door lock system with using Arduino Leonardo PLC and optional RFID key. In this video I'm presenting switches for open / close and LCD diming when door is closed. System has relay for auto charging the batteries too.

This is a walkthrough of my curtain opener I built using an arduino and some pieces from a robotics kit I had lying around. To control the curtains or lock the door I can use X10 (wireless remotes, web interface, iphone app), RFID (cards given to all my roommates) and physical switch to lock it as I leave.
