The Internet of Experiences: Vestigial Footprints in the Sand
The Internet of Experiences connects people, physical objects, destinations, and social events together in time. Cell phones retrieve diverse information from RFID-tagged photos and share them with friends and relatives. Our messages serve as digital beacons, integrating objects, places, people, and experiences. We used a Nokia 6212 cell phone to write, retrieve, and display a tropical video from a tagged photo.

We have attached a mifare RFID tag our Golden Retriever's collar. We are using a cell phone and Apple iPhone to read and replay a video of his three female puppies.

We presented an interactive poster at the International Plant Molecular Biology (IPMB) Congress. Using a Nokia 6212 cell phone we were able to write, retrieve, display, and share personalized plant videos. A Twitter message was sent during the poster session by placing the phone over an RFID tagged photo.
