QR code was printed on the personalized smart labels, after which they were finished with a watertight plastic layer to guarantee many years of durable use. RFID portals were installed at the dockshelters, where all incoming and outgoing tagged

In July 2017 at Zeebrugge, the ambitious tracking & tracing project of the CVBA Vereniging Vlaamse Visveilingen (VLV) was put into service. The project was commissioned to Aucxis in the framework of European directives on traceability of catches and their follow-up further down the chain.
With the use of Aucxis RFID technology, VLV is able to trace fish boxes and their content and efficiently manage their fish box pool.
