Curiosity Cabinet (connecting real objects and RFID)

His work is presented in two distinct ways, opening the drawers and looking at objects and pictures stored in the cabinet or by taking out a drawer and placing it on the RFID reader which shows the content on a computer. RFID Tracking System
voir la vidéoMy senior design project for Fall 2008. Uses a Skyetek M1 RFID reader to scan tags affixed to CD cases, and then stores/retrieves them to/from their assigned locations. A Parallax Propeller microcontroller was used to control the motors, vacuum pump, h-bridge, and optical encoder. It also communicated with the PC to ensure proper timing with the RFID reader.
