GS1 US RFID Apparel Demo

In this demonstration, conducted live on the show floor at RFID Journal LIVE! 2011, seven RFID technology providers—Avery Dennison RBIS, Tagsys RFID, Argo Wireless, Impinj, Seeonic, Tyco Retail Solutions and Zebra Technologies—show how goods can be tagged at the point of manufacture, and then be tracked through a distribution center to the back of a store and finally to the retail sales floor. Data was captured at each point using RFID tags, and was shared in real time using GS1's...

RFID Library implemented in AmbientTalk: asynchronous communication

This movie shows a library demo application developed in AmbientTalk. The books in the library are tagged with RFID tags and are scanned using a low range RFID reader connected via USB. It shows the intermittent connectivity of the RFID-tagged books is handled by considering it the default instead of the exception and employing asynchronous communication.
